Who we are
Handby Ltd runs this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17092920, and our registered office is 124-128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We decide how the information described here is used, so we are its controller. To ask anything about it, email roloyede@handby.uk.
Visiting the site
This site has no forms, sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies' servers: its fonts and images are served from the site itself. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, handles the technical details every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use this to identify you. Vercel is based in the United States, and its data processing terms cover transfers out of the UK.
When you email or call
If you get in touch, we use your name, contact details and whatever you tell us to reply, to give you a quote, and if you become a client, to do the work. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, for clients, on our contract with you. We never sell your information or use it for anything you would not expect.
Emails you send us are stored by our email provider. We do not share what you tell us with anyone else unless the law requires it.
We keep enquiries for 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Invoices and payment records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year, as UK tax rules require. Other project records are kept for six years after the work ends, which is how long a contract claim can be brought.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere. Email roloyede@handby.uk and we will reply within a month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
